My favourite pub in Whitby...and most other places actually. Great alternative scene, great beer. Been visiting here for 23 years but not stayed overnight so couldn't say about the rooms. Love the place!
Used to be one of my favourite pubs but not now got drink served in hot glass and when asked for cold glass snatched out of hand replaced but no vodka in second time. Cash machine thrust at me had to ask how much and she rolled eyes and said price then went to try my drink and was coconut not Bacardi not an apology nothing.
Had an AMAZING night again here for Halloween weekend. Great music, bar staff helpfull,professional and friendly even under VERY busy circumstances. Our go to when we're in Whitby
We stayed across the road from this pub so thought we’d try it. We weren’t disappointed. The lady that served us was lovely and welcoming. The drinks were reasonably priced and they even sell tubs of dog treats which was a bonus for our little Benji.
Perfect pub... Not changed in years. Just the way you want a pub to be. Staff are extremely pleasant too. Dogs welcome is a huge bonus.
