Great pub, 2 guys working 27th/28th December were a good laugh. Live music both nights was really good. Double jamesons and a double baileys was less than £11, cant beat those prices. Will be back when up that way again.

Called in here because I'd heard good reports about the place. It is a nice pub But its definitely not a dog friendly place to be. They served us at 7.25 pm with pints but then said we must leave by 8pm They have signage everywhere telling you what you can't do with your dog.....this just makes you feel unwelcome with a dog ?

After bouncing around a few of the pubs in Whitby, this one stands out as the best. A nice variety of pints on offer, a very welcoming barman and a nice central location for those staying in the more built up area of town makes it a definite winner

Had a hilarious fun evening on Sunday. The singer/guitarist was fantastic, Ill upload his duelling banjos...Mandy and the team were so friendly and up for fun. The bouncer was the best ever.. Would love to come back when next in Whitby...

Very much a "locals" pub. The landlord was very friendly & the pub has a cosy feel to it despite very bright lighting in places. The ale could certainly be better.
