For me, the best pub in Whitby now. Welcoming & warm with a decent pint of ale. Lots of regulars frequent here & some really good live music on show.

Called in here as it was on the sunny side of the river but it had an outdoor seating area and we wanted to sit in the autumn sun. Turn left through the front door, follow the corridor and it opens up to a pleasant tabled area on the right and a lovely comfy lounge area to the left with a fire. We opted to step outside onto the decking to enjoy the autumn sun but came back in when that went behind the clouds. Lovely proper pub inside with bar staff that actually engage in craic with the punters. Definitely one to visit again.

Busy local boozer with craft beers in the fridge. Good outside area overlooking the harbour. Nice for a cold beer on a warm day 🍻
