Great coffee and service! I went there today and yesterday. My expectations were quite low to be honest after trying another waterfront coffee shop. I ordered the large espresso. The coffee was super! Four shots for the large (you can have one with three shots for the large and there are also small medium options but I LOVE espresso!). The coffee is the best in Whitby. Today (11th Sept) I had the privilege of meeting the owner who like all of the others there were super, friendly, and helpful. Proper northern hospitality. There isn’t a massive range like some large coffee houses, but what they do, they do well. It is some of the best coffee I have tasted this year. And I feel their prices are great value. I was going to grab one for my return journey back to Brum tomorrow but we leave too soon sadly. But if you’re visiting and you don’t mind take away coffee which really tastes wonderful, served by lovely friendly staff, I would thoroughly recommend them.

Unfortunately they were unable to fulfill our order as the owner left a single inexperienced staff member to hold the fort and was unable to know how to accept the Tastecard® 25% discount on drinks and when we asked if she could ring the owner, we were told that the owner had asked her not to disturb them! Lost custom, due to management not training staff properly. (This review is aimed solely at the management, not the staff member) Suggest people try Sherlock's on the Khyber for a better experience (and at cheaper prices, even had the discount worked).

Best coffee on Whitby. Get a free chocolate too. Good sized cups. It's my favourite time sat on the pier with one of their coffees. Caters for vegans with three different alternatives for milk. Love this place.

The most delicious oat milk latte I've had! And the medium was much larger than I expected so excellent value. Super friendly service, with a genuine smile. It can be hard finding alternatives when you can have dairy or nuts, and this place was perfect.
