A lovely dog-friendly café with a warm, welcoming vibe. They serve great hot drinks and plenty of sweet treats – the carrot cake is absolutely amazing! There’s also extra seating available upstairs, making it a nice spot to relax with your pup.
We popped into Hopes & Beans during our visit to Whitby and had a really lovely experience. We ordered an English breakfast tea, a regular latte, and two hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the décor was lovely, and the mugs were really cute. The kids’ hot chocolates were the perfect size and went down a treat. My latte was served in a similar-sized mug, which felt a little on the small side, but the taste was excellent and the latte art was spot on. Overall, a great little stop — we’d happily go back again.
We had really nice coffee and hot chocolate here. The coffee was very smooth, but with a good hit of caffeine. The hit chocolate was rich and indulgent. It's an easy place to miss, but worth hunting out next time you are in Whitby.
Nice atmosphere. Staff were nice. Fantastic hot chocolate and mocha. Would recommend for a cosy cuppa.
Great artisan cafe, with good coffee, a chance to watch the world go past and chat. First floor was closed but looks amazing to sit at - spacious, comfortable chairs and great views.
