Another gem found on google maps when looking for dog friendly,and stokers cafe came up..just perfect from the moment we sat down,lovely real homemade food and cakes..our little dogs got a treat too...such lovely staff and such a pleasure to have gotten a seat here...a true 10/10..and the little lady bird is our little girl that we lost many years ago,she appears in such places to let us know she is on holiday with us...
My sister recently purchased a cake here, and I am beyond impressed! The cake not only tasted incredible but was also very generously sized, making it a fantastic value for the money. The flavor was simply outstanding—each bite was moist, rich, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The frosting was creamy and delicious without being overly sweet, and the layers were beautifully baked to perfection. You could tell that high-quality ingredients and a lot of love went into making this cake. What really stood out was the size of the cake. For the price, it was much larger than I expected, making it perfect for sharing with family and friends or for a special occasion. The bakery truly offers great value without compromising on taste or quality. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This bakery has won me over with their delicious, generously sized cakes, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a delectable treat that’s worth every penny!
A bit disappointed, sadly. My panini was ok and pretty basic but that was reflected in the lower price point which I feel was fair. Unfortunately, my hot chocolate was abysmal. An overpriced cup of sugary brown water that I couldn’t keep drinking after a couple of sips. The saving grace was the chocolate cake which was lovely and tasted very fresh. Although the service wasn’t overly rude, the waitress was awkward and unprofessional, and no one at the time was particularly friendly which made me feel a little unwelcome. Overall, it was ok but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. Maybe, I caught them on an off day.
Lovely little cafe just a short walk away from the busy centre of Whitby. The food was fresh and tasty and the portion sizes were very generous. Also very good value for money. Would definitely recommend!
Stoker's is a lovely friendly cafe with wonderful staff & delicious food & drinks. We go as often as we can. We had lunch there on Wednesday and it didn't disappoint, tasty homemade quiche with a lovely crunchy salad and home made coleslaw followed by red velvet cake and a mug of coffee 10/10. Can't recommend this cafe enough 🥰xx
