If you're looking for a great place to stop off for an ice cream while in Whitby, then look no further than The Beach Hut! With a wide variety of flavours to choose from, no-one will be disappointed. This is where we come, each time we've visited Whitby because it's always consistent. The lady is always pleasant and the prices are very reasonable, for what you get. I had cookies and cream and had a LOT of cookies in my scoop, which I loved. The flavours are also delicious and certainly hit the spot. So, if you're thinking of having one before embarking on the trek of the 199 steps (or as a treat for completing them), then this is the place for an ice cream treat!
Cute little (ice cream) shop with very friendly owners! They even have a couple of vegan flavours. Tried the amarena cherry one with a vegan chocolate covered cone to match. Was delicious, can highly recommend !
The Beach Hut offers the largest choice of delicious Beacon Farm ice cream in Whitby as well as gluten free cones which is a real treat. Garry and Sue are such a friendly couple, offering advice on crabbing and places to walk in the area. We're pleased a chance encounter watching the lionesses lead us to their shop. Thomas has declared the mint choc chip the best ever and Terry says he guesses you can't help being a Leeds supporter ... 😉 All the best Julie, Terry and Thomas.
