Lovely dining experience, home cooked and colourful and vibrant. We had the trio of tacos, chicken quesadilla and home cooked chips. Lovely food. I definitely recommend if you are in Whitby and fed up of the usual fish and chips and fancy something different.
Al Taco was exactly the food we needed on a cold damp Whitby night. The place was a little cramped but very cozy, the vibe is kinda like that of your mother's kitchen. Very comforting on a chilly dark evening. The food itself was wonderful, but my pictures won't do it justice because I added a heap load of extra sauce and got it as takeaway. Bloody worth it tho, the portions were huge. The owner was very sweet and she herself said "I'm a bit of an overfeeder..." So you know she's gonna look after you!! My wife got the vegetarian burrito and I got the pulled beef. Both highly recommend.
Absolutely incredible food. Fresh and really tasty served by lovely friendly staff. Big recommend. They made anything we wanted vegan too!
Wonderful food! The smells coming from the open kitchen was amazing. The host was happy to chat away about her life and how she just loves to feed people. What a sweetheart! Both hot and mild tastes catered for. 10/10
Amazing food. Amazing service. We were in Whitby for a long weekend and walked past during the day. We came back into the town center just to go here. We couldn't even finish everything because the portions were huge. Great value for money.
