Literally not joking, the absolute best pie I have ever had! Very decent filling, VERY flavoursome, light short pastry, proper seasoning, mash and mushy peas top notch! Super friendly staff. It would be lethal if I lived local to this place, I’d be in there for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day! You’d have to roll me home!
A lovely and cozy spot in Whitby! Humble Pie ’n’ Mash has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere with real old British charm. The pie, mash, and gravy were perfect comfort food, and I had Spotted Dick with custard for dessert absolutely delicious and nostalgic! The place feels cozy and traditional, and the staff were really friendly. Definitely one of the must-visit spots in Whitby!

Absolutely wonderful lunch today at Humble pie and mash - service was excellent and we were both completely stuffed after having a main each (£12.99+) i had a vegetarian romany hommity pie and it was delicious. completely packed with potato cheese and gravy. mash and gravy were fab and service was super fast. My partner had a Mince and onion pie and said the same. Definitely recommend and worth your money supporting! 😊
Lots of great reviews for this place. I would rate my sausage and black pudding pie as average at best. Mash was OK and peas were hard. Soft drinks only. Not expensive but not great value for a pie. Maybe the others are better.
