Ordered a mega box and humus, but unfortunately the tub of humus was already partially eaten and dry around the edges. The lamb and chicken pieces were fine, lamb chops and chicken wings had little flavour and kebab tasted ok but very disappointed with Humus, why it was half eaten I have no idea
Just go here. I needed something quick and (relatively) cheap and found this place. Just perfect, friendly staff, good ambience music, fast and very good food. 19,95 for two cokes, a main dish, and a full stomach.
Nice clean and welcoming entrance and reasonably priced. Good choice of menu. Ordered lamb shish and chicken wings with a big mixed box. Prepared hot and on time for pick up. Good portion sizes. There was a lot of grease on the meats and to be honest I couldn’t tell if My lamb shawarma was chicken, lamb or pork? Very tender and juicy though. No discernible spice flavour apart from lemon on the wings. Salad beautiful as were the dips. Plenty enough for two hungry people though and lots left over for little doggie breakfast in the morning.
Walked in, met with charming service, got to choose table by radiator (we were wet and cold from rain) and then got a wide range of food to choose. Beer and wine good, starter great (hummus and sharwama), mains, shish and lamb, plus lovely salad and pitta. Will definitely come again.
I have never given a 1 star rating before but this is entirely appropriate considering I received no food… I popped in around 10:15pm and took a menu away, asking them what time they closed, to which the staff member replied “11pm so you’ve got plenty of time” I then phoned up around 10 minutes later to place my order, however I was told there was no pizzas left, only donner meat. I then rang back up (having to change the order for my family) and ordered, ready to collect in 20 minutes from then - 10:53pm (still before the 11pm closing time) Upon arriving to collect I was told that the cook had turned all the machines off, and that there in fact was no food to collect. The staff member refused to give me his name, and I will mention the only reason we were going to this place is because it was one of the only take-aways to stay open later in Whitby. I would highly advise to avoid this place, judging by some of the other reviews I’m glad we didn’t eat here.
