Lovely Indian restaurant. Good atmosphere. Reasonable price. Very bright and clean. Toilets are well maintained and clean.
We enjoyed a delicious meal late on a Friday (10pm). We rang to book and were advised it was cash which was fine for us. We were the last ones in but were welcomed and not made to feel rushed. Food arrived promptly and sizzling hot and all very fresh, good portions, tasty meat etc. All the staff were friendly and polite, and it was clean and tidy. Will definitely return when in Whitby again.
Amazing Indian restaurant, have never had a bad meal here. Service is so friendly and the food is tip top. We come every time we visit Whitby without fail. Tikka masala and peshwari naan and coconut rice - absolutely delicious.
Gorgeous food, we had jalfrezi and balti! Balti wins but both was stunning! Service was prompt and polite! If I was to criticise anything for criticism’s sake, would be abit of interior touch ups wouldn’t go a miss but if food is your game then I would definitely recommend!
5 of us ate here last night. Having seen polarising reviews we didn't know what to expect. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and took the leftovers to eat later. Flavours, portion sizes and choice was very good. The service was decent. Would definitely revisit. Would highly recommend the Duck Tawa.
