We were staying on Fishburn Road and decided to have a chippy tea at our digs instead of in town, best decision ever! All 5 of us were extremely impressed, not only was our meals extremely tasty, but also the price was very reasonable and the portions huge! We would deffo highly recommend. We ate at a pricey fish restaurant the night before and the quality was not a patch on the railway chippy. Delicious!!
Generous portions, very tasty and good value. We had four normal size fish (which were plenty big enough) and two large chips between four of us and we couldn't eat it all. Good curry sauce too.
I visited this delightful little chippy as I was staying nearby for the Whitby Goth Weekend. The service was excellent, and the lovely ladies who run this place are friendly and welcoming. I had a large haddock and chips for £10 which was an absolute bargain as the fish was huge and there were ample chips to share between two of us. Plus the chips were perfect, not too thick and not too thin. We will definitely be stopping by for a bite to eat again next time we're in Whitby
Ordered delivery for 4 after seeing on whitby TV you tube channel. Collective from all was best fish and chips we have had in years . Will be using railway chippy each time we come. They were delivered really quickly and were piping hot too. We will order again in March and Sept. Thank you so much.
