Discovered this little cafe while walking round Whitby, at the bottom of the Abbey Steps. Very welcoming, cosy layout, the food was delicious, we had sausage and bacon sandwiches and tea, the tea was lovely and the bread was lovely and soft. The staff were very welcoming and there were vinyl records playing on the record player, very unique. The cafe was very clean, we would recommend a visit, its charming and peaceful. We would definately visit again.
A beautiful establishment at the foot of the abbey steps as the name suggests. I expected this to be a tourist trap due to it's great location, but it was anything but. The tearoom is cosy and welcoming with the added touch of vinyl playing adding to the ambience. The staff are very friendly and attentive, with great food and excellent coffee done properly. Added to that, the price was very good too. I couldn't recommend this place enough as it is a gem within Whitby. Thanks for providing a great setting and service.
Popped in for a weekday brunch and a coffee, delicious food, great portion size and value for money. Lovely atmosphere, we really enjoyed the decorations and the music playing on vinyl!
Smaller tea room but still serving a wide range of reasonably priced snacks and meals. Definitely worth a visit particularly if about to climb the 99 steps!
Best cup of coffee this side of Kicking Horse Pass , I had a cappuccino . It was strong , creamy and hot as the fires of hell. Just what I needed. Can't recommend this enough .
