Good location to harbour with no height restrictions but very tight spaces payment is on ringgo
The toilets here are absolutely disgusting, I have seem homeless shelters better than this! The stench and the cleanness. Especially having to pay 40p (haven’t got an issue paying, but MAKE SURE THE FACILITIES ARE CLEAN AND MORE HYGIENIC!!!)
Probably quite hard to write a review on a car park, but i thought about it for a while and I realized that people visiting Whitby, maybe for the first time might be interested. We were booked in for two nights at The white Horse & Griffin, which is right in the centre and no parking,so the nearest car park to that was Abbey Street CP,which is nearly always rammed, but luck was with us and someone was just leaving,we paid for all night parking,we decided the next day to pay again and leave it there all day because we might struggle to get back in, but what we found was, parking eased by late afternoon, happy days.👍 Revisited October 2023. Parked here overnight again while staying in Whitby which cost me £9-00 which I thought was very reasonable, also they are installing electric charger's which is a good thing for me many other people.
Very expensive costing over £7 for 4 hours. Spaces are the narrowest I’ve ever seen and subsequently everyone’s skewed straddling spaces. Toilets are paid and disgusting. Only good point is close to the centre.
I personally had a great experience here, I couldn't find a campsite over the bank holiday (obviously 😀) in my campervan so I parked here for the night. It cost £9 for all night parking and I woke up to a great sunrise lighting up the whole harbour.
