GOLDEN CLIPPERS

As a person suffering from PTSD from serving our country I entered the shop with my clearly labeled Assistance Dog for a haircut and a hot shave. I am assuming that it was the owner that told bluntly that dogs were not allowed I showed him my dogs lead and advised that she was an assistance dog and she was protected under the law and he could not stop her. His response was could I take her in a shop over the road with no issues, yes I answered. I suggested he looks up the equality act as he had just discriminates against me I know he won't so I've attached the brief notes on the law Under the Equality Act 2010, assistance dogs are considered "auxiliary aids" rather than pets. Public Access: They are legally allowed in places where pet dogs are usually banned, including shops, restaurants, hospitals, and public transport. No Extra Fees: Businesses and landlords cannot charge extra fees for the presence of an assistance dog. THE RESPONSE BELOW IS UTTER RUBBISH THE RESPONSE FROM SIMPLY WAS NEITHER PERSON KNEW ABOUT ASSISTANCE DOGS SIMPLY QUOTING NO DOGS TWO CUSTOMERS ENTERING IN STATED THET ARE RUDE AND DONT LISTERN

Rude babers who have no idea how to cut hair. Showed him a picture of what I wanted and he balded both sides of my head nothing like the picture, they just do what they want the same haircut for everyone and hope that it pans out, made a comment that it would look stupid if I left before the haircut was finished, however I wanted to save as much of the hair on my head as I could from these useless people. Avoid like the plague.

Another great barbers well worth coming here for amazing service and a great haircut and the staff are fantastic and friendly definitely worth coming here for hair cuts styling hot towel shave absolutely fantastic and very professional and it's worth every penny. Absolutely brilliant and very helpful and understanding when you explain what you want done. Number 1 barber in Whitby

Just called in today (Sunday 3rd Nov) hoping for a quick beard tidy but instead got the best beard fade, trim and treatment I've ever had. Trying to encourage the barber to set up in Newcastle (my hometown) but I don't think he was having any of it. Easy 5 star rating. Outstanding!!!!! Oh... and thanks for the compliment... I really am 50 tomorrow lol.

The youngest guy working here (tall/skinny, usually looks strung out or hungover) is rude and impatient. He asks what you want and literally sighs and/or rolls his eyes when you tell him. He rushes the cut, is not delicate and does not care if he pulls your hair in the process. You can tell he hates his job but for some reason doesn't leave. He is the reason I will not be returning to this barber. Careless, rude, and seems mean for no reason. I hope management can speak to him because he is just not respectful or polite like everyone else there and it is a shame.
