I’d like to give a big thank you to Charlie Wainwright at Hendersons Estate Agents in Whitby for her outstanding service. From start to finish, Charlie was professional, approachable, and highly knowledgeable about the local market. She was always quick to respond to queries and kept us updated. Her attention to detail and honest, down-to-earth approach gave us full confidence. Up until today I've had no issues with hendersons and no reason to call them as a tenant. However I have no heating now. When I called their AI told me they would be in contact but as the shop wasn't open till Friday ( it's now monday) it couldnt say when. Happy New year everyone. Ammendment: I've changed my original low review. As I have been contacted and it looks like everything will get sorted Thank you.

Whitby has many very good estate agents and having bought and sold property in and around Whitby for over 30 years we've used them all. Henderson's , Graham Henderson and Nick Henderson especially whilst initially all charm, very quickly resort to bullying tactics against their customer. They'll do anything to push a sale through regardless of monetary loss and stresses created for the seller. We challenged them constantly about who exactly was the client and who would be paying the bill!?! So bad was their service we did dispute the bill. It took them 2 years, with them using more bullying tactics (unlawful threats from debt collectors and down right lies) before an agreement was reached and they received a final settlement from us. A settlement figure which I might add, was less than we had always thought appropriate to pay and, less still further considering the fees they would have had to pay. All they had to do to avoid all of that was reply to our emails when we advised them the property had sold. As said Whitby has many very good estate agents, Hendersons isn't one of them! Avoid!! Lastly , I'm expecting this review to be discredited, as another example of their approach to customer care.

We cant recommend Nick and the team at Hendersons highly enough. We first got in touch around March 2021 during the pandemic in regards to a property in Whitby. We were met by a lovely lady named Claire who showed us around the property, we were allowed to take our time to ensure we had checked everything instead before we put an offer in. The team at Hendersons after the offer had gone in were just amazing. Nothing was ever to difficult for them, even though we we rang constantly for updates. They were fast and responsive in emails, and constantly chased up and helped us in regards to our solicitors and sellers solicitors issues. This allowed us to complete the property in around 12 weeks from start to finish. If your certainly looking for a property in the Whitby / North Yorkshire area, Hendersons are the team to go with. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very disappointed. customer service extremely poor. Initially I contacted Hendersons via email to view a property. Having no response I rang this estate agent to arrange a viewing on this property and another. The advisor said she would contact the vendors to arrange relevant viewings, surprise surprise no contact even a courtesy call from this estate agents! To add to insult, I see this morning that one of these properties as been reduced. It's not a surprise the property isn't sold when Hendersons are not sorting out viewings. Shame on them.
