Franco's Italian Cakes

I’d heard some great reviews by family about the cakes in the shop so I went by to check for myself. I was NOT disappointed 🤤 I’ve never seen so many options, and the man himself (Franco) was bringing down a fresh batch of sticky toffee cookies as I was buying, so I had to grab one of these as well as a selection of others. To be honest, the pictures speak for themselves 🤷‍♂️🧡 Top work 👏 clearly made with passion and love. Keep it up 👍

Trust me, see all other review photos of the cakes on offer, that's what you get. Very appealing and affordable luxury. I only popped in out of the rain for two cups of coffee and was quite shocked at how low priced they were. That's why I did this review. Praise to those who seek to serve.

This bakery is genuinely amazing in every way possible 5* all the way. Beautiful food, the best service, and the atmosphere just lovely, friendly and welcoming.. oh.. Beautiful fresh ground coffee too. I had an espresso, cookies, rum babas and some POSH PEBBLES (Italian chocolates). So glad this place exists in our favourite place on Earth, Whitby. A MUST VISIT for anyone visiting Whitby.

We loved it so much that we went twice in one day during our visit to Whitby! This place is an absolute hidden gem, with incredibly delicious cakes and amazing coffee. The owner and head chef, Franco, clearly puts his heart and passion into everything he bakes, and he genuinely cares about every guest who visits the cafe. Thank you, Franco! We can’t wait to come back next time!
