Visited today on a trip to Whitby after seeing the shop on social media. Did initially enter with my 8 year old and it was politely explained that children are not allowed, the owner even went on to explain this and honestly it makes perfect sense! Hands down, this shop has the biggest collection of incense I’ve ever seen. The selection of jewellery here is stunning, intricate and the entire shop is absolutely beautifully decorated. I feel like I need at least another three visits just to notice everything in here. I did only select a crystal, but I got a nice little chat and information about everything I looked at to help me decide. Shop owner is welcoming, warm and so helpful with a huge personality. Will definitely return again!

Such a beautiful and welcoming space with a varied stunning selection of literally everything! I love Gutsy it’s one of the best shops in Whitby. We had to make a visit during goth weekend and saw how rammed it was so we waited for it to quiet down! Despite the chaos still an amazing caring environment and even though everyone was overwhelmed with how busy it was I was made to feel welcomed as always

An aladins cave of the weird and wonderful. The shop owner couldn't be more helpful and regardless of if you left with a packet of incense or something more pricey, she was super accommodating. There's something in here for everyone! Once home I contacted them as my partner saw something she wish she'd purchased and the owner was more than happy to to arrange delivery. Great little find in a lovely seaside town 😊

This was a much anticipated visit. My daughter (13 years old) had been saving up her pocket money with the intention of buying some silver jewellery. The shop looked warm and inviting from the outside. This however, was not the case. We had barely crossed the threshold when we were abruptly told that no children were allowed. We promptly left. The old bat called after us, 'there is a sign outside, you should have read it.' I am very glad my daughter didn't spend her money in this establishment. Save your money for small businesses that actually provide lovely customer service.
