We are celebrated our 25th Wedding anniversary in September, while on holiday in Scarborough, I suggested that we have a day trip to Whitby. On the way I suggested that we but replacement Wedding rings so when we got to whitby we popped into a couple of stores but didnt see anything we liked, but as soon as we walked into Abbey Jet we spotted the ones we wanted. The staff were very friendly and helped us find rings that would fit. I also bought my wife a Elephant shaped Jet brooch. Thank you again for all your help.

This is the best Jet shop in Whitby. Rich the jeweller is amazing. He made my black jet necklace for me as a personal request and 1 year later I purchased the turquoise necklace as shown in the pics - both birthday presents from my husband. I have also bought several pairs of earings for myself and for friends. Nothing is too much trouble for Rich or the 2 ladies who work in the shop, they are all really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else now! Thanks again Lisa

On a trip to Whitby I spotted a lovely pendant in the window of a shop. Having photographed it and sent the photo to my wife she wanted it as a birthday present but I didn’t know the name of the shop. After a few phone calls I discovered it was Abbey Jet and was helped by a lovely lady called Sue. She sent me more pictures and I agreed to buy the item. It was packaged and posted in time for my wife’s big day. Brilliant service and so friendly and helpful. Can’t speak highly enough of this business

Visited because I wanted a small piece of Whitby Jet for myself and lovely woman behind the counter helped me so quickly and was very good on price considering I was expecting a higher cost for a small amount. Got a big chunk in the end for such a reasonable price. She even told me the backstory on the history and why it became so popular today. 10/10

Lovely shop, lovely and interesting people and such a beautiful selection of jewellery. I bought a jet and turquoise pendant and its had so many compliments. I found the perfect piece here, and was able to swap the chain for a shorter one that fit me better. Also, if you visit during goth weekend and are in costume, the store has space for moving around in a large dress which made it even easier to shop there. Thanks for being so helpful :-)
