I saw a wonderful warm cat scarf outside the shop front. The man who served me located said item & one happy customer.
One of my fave shops to come to when i visit my family here, bought the cutest jellycats today they even have the new halloween ones 🥰🥰 (i very well may go buy another tomorrow hahaha)
I visited the shop 3 times during my most recent trip to Whitby. The first time was to see what I wanted to buy and so I could think about it prior to purchasing, as i'm bad for impulse purchases, the second time was to buy a jellycat Prawn/Shrimp they had in the window, where I mentioned to the chap on the till how busy it was in Whitby, for this time of year, though as he rightly pointed out, it was good for the shops. The third time was to buy a small ornament of a flock of seagulls. The girl behind the till was very friendly on the third visit. The shop always has a good selection of stock and the prices are very reasonable. I always pop in whenever i'm in Whitby. My only gripe - it's a minor one, is that it can be tricky seeing around the shop when it's busy, due to the layout. Definitely a shop worth visiting when in Whitby, as it's a small, independent business with a diverse range of items - highly recommended!
Lovely little shop for tourists and you may find the occasional rare bear hidden away that may be sold out elsewhere but I didnt find it very bear collector friendly, a £14 over rrp for the charlie year bear and incense burning in the shop which you could smell on the bears fur. I appreciate prices depend on the area, overheads and local markets but knowing online and other stockist prices in the Scarborough area I personally found it extremely expensive to buy.
We always buy something from this shop while visiting. Usually a Charlie Bear. But since out last visit 2019 (no visits because of covid) all they had were expensive ones locked in the cabinet. I'm not sure if covid has played a part in the stocking of the shop, but it was nowhere near as good as it was before. Left without spending a penny.
