As everyone says lovely lady. I swear she doesn't think she conned me. I purchased a duck vase , £70 I collect ducks and it was so different. She assured me I wouldn't find one like it anywhere. Well how wrong was she they are £20 at most every where. My husband says more fool me and I know he's right. Still, do your homework before you buy not after.
A nonchalant lady was apparently ‘covering’ the shop whilst the owner wasn’t there. She was reluctant to end a conversation with a friend whilst I patiently waited. I wanted to buy a piece of gold jewellery in the window. She couldn’t be less helpful. I asked if she could contact the owner to help me. Apparently not. Saying she’d be back in 3 days time (when I would have returned home). Very disappointed Wow! A lost a sale and not an ideal way to run a small business
Very friendly and interesting atmosphere with very fair value for money prices. The proprietor is a very friendly lovely lady who is only to willing to help with anything you are interested in or are looking for. She has been there for years and is a very good conversationalist and I have often spent a good half an hour just talking about what I'm looking for and where is the best place to find it if she hasn't got it. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a great experience.
Went inside the shop to ask about something I had seen in the window. The shop keeper was reading a book so couldn't get her attention from stood at the door. As i walked in and before I could ask I was asked to leave because I had a pram. Disgusting customer service!
Cute little shop, staff friendly and helpful, everything set out well.
