Pannett House

Me and my partner (Gareth) had the best time we will be returning in October, this was our first time in Whitby and wanted it be special, it defiantly was, the room was fantastic, clean and Lee was brilliant very welcoming and we instantly felt at home. The breakfast was delicious and fresh we couldn’t ask for anymore. Thank you so much!

We have just come back from Whitby, and we have had fantastic stay in Pannett House, lovely house, fantastic host, briliant location, just what you need to enjoy your stay. Our room was on a 3rd floor, spacious, very clean, quality bedding, all what you need for your stay was there.The owners have been briliant,all very well orginized, very helpful.

Third time visiting Pannett House, great location, comfortable bedrooms, fantastic breakfasts and Lee is a brilliant host.

Wow! What a fantastic place to stay! We were welcomed late on Friday to our wonderful host Lee! What a lovely warm welcome we received from such a lovely guy.The property is absolutely stunning with lots of original features and stunning furniture. The rooms are absolutely spotless and have the comfiest of beds. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a generous portion served. The location of the property was perfect and well within walking distance of the Harbour and other attractions. I cannot recommend enough will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Xxx

What a wonderful B&B situated a mere 5 minute walk to the front and shops. Lee, owner of Pannett House, is the perfect host - Warm, Friendly and so Welcoming. He makes you feel instantly at ease and at home. The beautiful periodic furniture through out the house goes well with the history behind it. We stayed in one of the Deluxe Rooms and it did not disappoint. It was a generous size with high ceilings and a 4 poster bed, adding a luxury feel to the room. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, aiding in one of the best nights sleeps we have had in a long time. The bathroom, all be it small, was perfect for our needs. (We did not require anything larger). Having the smaller bathroom meant a larger bedroom and we were happy with that. The room was clean and tidy with fresh towels, a kettle, tea, coffee, hair dryer and TV all included in the room and a fabulous guidebook written by Lee with answers to any potential questions, jnformation about breakfast and a nice section on Pannett himself. The Breakfast was lush, great variety and choice. The Full English definitely lives up to the reviews, really tasty. Parking was okay for us, we parked just down the road in Permit Zone W. I believe there is usually is a small fee for a permit which you can purchase from Lee unless you have a disabled badge which we did (which makes it free). On our exit I happen to ask Lee about the bathroom on the 1st Floor labeled 'Victoria Bathroom'. Happy to show us, this bathroom is spectacular if you're like me and like authentic historical architecture. Mostly all original dated from the 1800's (bar the shower), this room instantly takes you back in time. A true hidden beauty to the house and no doubt Whitby itself. All in all our stay was wonderful, as stated Lee is the Perfect host and provided 5* service. For the price, it is an absolute treat and in my opinion a bargain for what you get. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you again, for a lovely stay!
