Lovely big house, Perfect for a family occasion.

We have just enjoyed a 10 day stay at Stakesby as a base to explore the Whitby and North Yorks Moors area, and it was perfectly placed for this, a 10-15 min walk into town and a short drive to reach most of the interesting spots in the area such as Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay.

Stakesby Villa is a wonderful place to stay, it's central to lots of places to visit and only a 5 minute walk into town.

Overall property was lovely although a big house the living room couldn't accommodate all 7 guests to be all in the same room watching TV the two sofas in the dining room could be better used in the living room I think as we sort of had to split up really to be comfortable.
