We had a really warm welcome from Julie at her wonderful guest house. The room was well decorated, very spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. The location is great, just a very short walk to the station and loads of local shops, restaurants etc. If / when we return to Whitby we will definitely stay here again.
Just returned after two wonderful nights stay..Beautiful room with private terrace. So close to the town centre could watch the steam train from our room. Julie and her hubby were wonderful hosts, gave us info on where to eat and visit, nothing was too much trouble. Room was exceptional and had a wonderful night's sleep both nights. Have already recommended to my family and friends, we will most definitely be returning. Thank you guys xxx⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent Accommodation with Free On Site Parking and a Very Central Location with Superb Hosts Peter & Julie.
Very nice place to stay and near the centre of Whitby, the hosts was very accommodating and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were very clean and roomy. Will return next time we stay in the area.
Wonderful, friendly, and helpful hosts. We arrived at Whitby earlier than expected and couldn't find a parking spot anywhere and the owners kindly let us check in early. The Mainstay is beautiful and immaculately clean with everything you need for night's stay. It is in a perfect spot with just a short walk into the town. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
