The accommodation was very familiar to us so we knew what to expect. It was clean and very well equipped and everything worked well. Perhaps the decor could do with a refresh in places. We had been used to receiving a welcome gift on arrival but this time there was not even a bottle of milk. Not a big issue but these things are a nice touch. The location and car parking space of the Coastguard Cottage are standout features of this let and why we come back.
Excellent location parking just round the corner which was a massive plus the house was as described didn’t bother us but the stairs are quite narrow but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues.The only slight negative was there wasn’t a option to recycle paper/cans/plastic etc just went in one bin but in no way did this detract from our stay and a little bonus you could see the abbey from the top floor bedroom. We would stay here again I left my pork pie in the fridge from bothams which I’m gutted about the cakes were delicious and I was looking forward to it! So my fault not the house 🥧
