High Tor Guest House

We had a brilliant 2 day stay here. A present from the kids. John and Lisa were the perfect hosts, nothing was a problem. It's advertised as a guest house but it compares to a 5 star hotel with all the little extras supplied. The breakfast was cooked fresh and plentiful The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great selection of drinks and snacks. Top quality products in the bathrooms. They have gone to town with the decor. The film theme throughout the property is a great idea. It's the best guest house we have stayed in and would highly recommend to anyone. Whitby is a lovely place to visit with plenty of places to eat and drink. Thanks again for a great 2 night stay.

I can't speak highly enough of High Tor. John and Lisa are amazing hosts who will do anything for you to make your stay an excellent one. Wonderful decor and the movie and music memorabilia give it a real different cool vibe. Superbly clean and comfortable, with little touches like nice biscuits and selection of drinks etc in your room. that just make it nicer. Awesome breakfast choices (the English breakfast is top notch in both quality and flavour). Genuinely the best place we've ever stayed in Whitby (this was our second time). Lovely people and a lovely place to stay, highly recommended. We'll be back!

The very high review ratings we read prior to our two day stay were totally accurate! High Tor is a gem, great service, attention to detail in every way and the most perfect breakfast. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

We’ve been to High Tor for many years now and can honestly say that it’s absolutely the best. John and Lisa are amazing hosts! We always book for the year after before we leave on the last day of our stay. We love it and so do our friends who also stay at High Tor. 😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️

Just spent two nights at this lovely B&B the place is spotlessly clean and the added extras in the rooms were a lovely touch . The array of coffee tea hot chocolate some lovely biscuits and a bag of sweets. The hosts are so friendly and full of local knowledge. The breakfast is very varied and cooked on order . We will definitely be back thanks again John for making our stay and a big shout out Lisa for all the background work sorry we didn't meet her only briefly on our way home but it's obviously you both work extremely hard
