Highgate House

Jonathan and Louise gave us a lovely, warm Whitby welcome for our 1st visit to Highgate House. A majestic, beautiful and authentically decorated Georgian residence, which fits into Whitby's historic narrative perfectly and breakfast in our room was a delight! My wife and I had a very comfortable two nights at this lovely historic house. The accommodation was luxurious, breakfast was sumptuous, and our hosts were most accommodating and attentive. We would not hesitate to go back or recommend this accommodation to others. The house itself is within a stone's throw of antique and boutique shops, and just a short trip down the hill to the harbour. Thank you, Jonathan and Louise, for a very relaxing stay.

A fantastic stay at Highgate House in September. The historic house, exquisite decor, delicious breakfast and hospitality from Jonathan and Louise are amazing. We really like the location because it is quiet and peaceful in the B & B ; yet you are within short walking distance of the shops, restaurants, park , museum and beach, which is really convenient. We highly recommend this to others wanting a fabulous stay in Whitby.

Fantastic stay at Highgate House. The hotel is central to Whitby and Jonathan and Louise are helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
