Last minute decision to stay an extra night in Whitby. As the B&B we had just vacated was full, found this had availability for one night and had free parking and breakfast included for a bargain price. Check in was easy, friendly and helpful staff and were able to park off the road, right outside the door. Great location (as we’d parked in the pay and display on the promenade for the past few hours) so was able to move the car for the rest of the day/night. We did have 2 flights of stairs, but the room was great and had a very comfortable bed. We had a drink in the bar on our return from our evening out. Didn’t fancy the bar stools, so we took our wine back to the room instead. Great breakfast and had plenty of it. Would definitely return and recommend.
Stayed for Goth Weekend Thurs - Mon. Great price, clean room with comfy bed, delicious breakfast, fair price for drinks in the hotel bar too. Limited parking but managed to patk on promenade for free with scratchcard ticket. Location excellent. Would return again.
Such great staff, welcoming and all smiles. The rooms have great views. Also, great location— we walked up and down the coast; what a treat! even as far as the abbey. The restaurants in town are also within walking distance
Brilliant, clean hotel , Polite welcoming, staff, nothing was a problem, Loved the sea view, Bed comfortable, Will definitely recommend going there again
Was a great location nice and quiet rooms were clean and tidy but beds not so comfy well mine wasn't could invest in better quality mattresses food was adequate fresh range of full breakfast fruit toast or just ask if there is anything was a clean and tidy place could also invest in sound proofing as if ur on 1st or middle floor u can hear people having a piddle amongst other activities but overall had a nice stay
