8 of us visited on a Tuesday at around 5pm in late October during half term. 4 kids and 4 adults. Well I am just a big kid so I was also playing on Rambo (photo included). Love the retro section upstairs which is where we spend most of our time. £1 per game seems about right and can last a while of you are any good on the machines. The venue is very clean and tidy and looks the part. One of the best amusement arcades I've been in. It was fairly quiet in the retro section with less than 20 people but downstairs was fairly busy. Recommended.
Actually won on the toy grabbers! So least you know they are legit! Decent arcades too 😎👌
I only visited here for the retro arcade section, and although small, there are some classic cabs 👍 sadly one of my all time faves was dead though 😔 Ms Pacman was there but had an error showing on screen, so for me a disappointing sight 😔 Not cheap either and rather annoying that it's 2 plays for £1? As a retro arcade gamer I want to play as many games as possible, but don't want to play twice on each game, so this is something that should be changed. The Namco Pixel Bash cab was good to see and the only cab where 2 for £1 is worth it as you can play different games. Worth a visit if you're passing and of an age to remember classic arcades. See if you can beat my New Rally X highscore pictured in the photos 👍
Brilliant to see and be able to play a large collection of early video games, Defender never gets any easier does it.
Classic faded seaside amusements. Penny pusher machines with naff prizes. Grabber machines that don’t grab. All the fun of the fair!
