Whorlton Pods

Well where to start? This is one of the most beautiful if not the best pods we have ever stayed in! We stayed in Aiden with our 2 children for my husbands 30th birthday and there was plenty of space, it was immaculate throughout and has everything you could possibly need and more. The little touches made it all the more amazing, from the lemon drizzle cake and hand written card on arrival, little jars of marshmallows for the kids hot chocolates, a welcome wood pack for the fire pit which unfortunately we didn’t get to use because the wind really picked up! The cute Christmas decor, the list goes on! Our kids especially loved the hot tub and the egg chair. We were lucky enough to have clear skies on our first night so we sat star gazing whilst relaxing in the hot tub with the Christmas lights all around us. The pod is so warm and the bed is sooo comfortable, even the pull out sofa bed was comfy which I was shocked at because most aren’t! 😅 There’s also a beautiful pond to have a walk around. We felt so safe and secure whilst staying here and the owners are really lovely. I cannot fault anything our stay was perfect from start to finish. We will definitely be returning! It was exactly the relaxing break we needed. The lemon cake was absolutely gorgeous and we loved the orange juice and milk too, i can really appreciate those little personal touches as it makes all the difference and made the stay that much more enjoyable! Also loved the fairy lights around the pod added a lovely cosy touch to watching a film on the evening and the little autumnal decorations were super cute! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the stars the peaceful views were just perfect. We will definitely visit again and the lazy days extra was perfect for a cosy chilled Sunday. The pod was gorgeous and like I say the perfect break we needed we will definitely visit again in the future!

We’ve just been for our 4th annual visit to Whorlton Pods (after getting engaged there in Year 3!) and always have the best time. This year we had the new sauna and cold plunge pool at Topping Pod which are fab additions. It’s really starting to feel like ‘coming home’ now when we visit - thanks Chris and Ali for always making us feel so welcome.

What a great place to stay, we didn’t know what to expect especially with something being so close to home but it was perfect for a getaway. The pod itself was lovely including a lovely bathroom and shower. We stayed in the Foss pod and inside and outside was beautiful. Great surroundings full of natural and healthy nature + animals. On arrival extra treats such as lemon drizzle was made and it was lovely. Met Ali on our way out but what a lovely person and host. Would recommend anyone to stay and we’ll see you again soon!

Second time staying there and it certainly won’t be the last! Chris and Ali gave us a warm welcome and everything was set up for us on arrival. The pods are warm and cozy, absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. We spent a couple of relaxing evenings enjoying the log fire and the hot tub. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
