Barmaid on phone all time u welcoming pub cold won't be going again. Said goodbye as leaving barmaid too busy on mobile
Soon as we walked in the atmosphere was horrible, land lady spoke to us like absolute rubbish. Horrible pub wouldn’t recommend. We went to the white swan down the road and it was much better. Welcoming kind staff with good music who made us feel like family :)
It's no longer called the market tavern. This place has been modernised to very high and trendy standards. Yet drinks remain reasonable
All good inside verry warm it makes a.change from other pubs nice staff
Now called the garden shed lots of room prices very good lots of different beers
