Smashing food post football game and excellent service from Abbie and Jo never felt more welcome at a pub. The place is lucky to have them and I felt like I was at my local. Will be back.
My Partner and I probably eat at these premises once a month as it is close by . We had a meal on 2nd November 2025, both of us having the Sunday special. The meal was brilliant, falling in line with our previous visits same high standards excellent staff and service. I cannot praise this pub highly enough
Feeling peckish as driving past so popped in! Smallish car park but managed to squeeze in the empty space at the top. Outside seats full of happy folk, suprisingly nice inside, food really tasty and not a long wait. Staff great too 👍
Christmas lunch was delicious great service by Abby table decoration very festive could not fault it
Had great experience at the ancient foresters today, food was excellent and came out promptly and piping hot…. Service was great, the staff were polite and willing to help with everything we asked for…. The atmosphere inside was pleasant but the outside space in the sun was incredible…. We loved it thx guys
