Salty’s has always been regular for us but tbh as a last resort … BUT no longer it is now in our no1 spot! I’ve no idea when the change happened but the last few times we’ve been - friendly, welcoming staff, golden crispy chips soft inside, the fish white & moist with crispy batter & no stodginess - just lovely! Now we’re happy to go there :)
Ordered food via just eat at 5pm which salty recieved at 5:07pm still sat waiting for it to be accepted 43 minutes later, rang to ask why the hold up or if they can cancel the order the rude girl who answered the phone said "dont have an order i have the machine here theres nothing, not my problem" my partner told her thats the last time we will be ordering and we got "thats fine love" then phone ended, then magically this order she didnt have and couldnt find was magically accepted. Next time try not lying to your customers and just being honest and admit you didnt see the order come through. Poor customer service and rude staff.
Enjoyed the fish and chips here. Freshly fried fish to order always tastes good... Chips were cooked through but the outside felt a bit hard for some reason. Service was very friendly. Will be back again sometime, there are better chippies in Bradford but this is a good choice to go to.
I loved the fish so much the staff even gave their own curry sauce straight from their van on it yum yum atmosphere was so good i heard chants when the boss scored a bicycle kick from the halfway line absolute limbs
Fish & chips was beautiful & excellent customer service, I have been coming here since I was little, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else 😋👌🏼
