Gloss & Glow

I went to gloss and glow to get my hair re-coloured after lockdown due to my previous hair colour being grown out. I wanted more of a white blonde/silver hair colour for a new look to change things up a-bit, however after a week of getting it done my hair looks yellow. My hairdresser (I can’t remember her name) was also very rough with my hair and was ragging it and not gentle at all, i had tears in my eyes from how hard she was pulling it. Also another issue is that the dye was not done all the way up to my roots, leaving them looking outgrown already. They are also very uneven and look like they have been done very carelessly. Another issue is that I was not offered a drink of any kind, which i find very bad service. With every other hair salon i’ve been to I have always been offered a drink as I’ve been in their hands for a couple of hours. As a young adult, I find it very very unprofessional that ‘swear words’ were used as well during the time that i was there, making it not kid friendly as them words were used very frequently!! overall my experience at Gloss and Glow was terrible, I will not be going back there at all and I would not even recommend It to my worst enemy.

1st time visiting the salon and Elise really looked after me! She made me feel at ease and did exactly what i asked for. Already booked in my next appointment.

Have been going here for my nails doing for years love the place, they are welcoming and friendly. Have never had any problems with my nails very professional.
