Hillams Garage

My first visit to this garage today and have to say, from 1st phone call with Ben to getting the job done and meeting the friendly staff im happy. Peugeot 3008 full service all done very quickly. Even offered to drop it back home for me. 5 star service and I will be using them from now. Happy to support local.

I've tried several garages and it's always been about the money rather than the quality of the job. However, Hilliams Garage is the complete opposite, they charge a reasonable price, are friendly and genuinely care about the health of your car! Went to get my tyres checked yesterday and Ben sorted me out! Tbh both Ben and Stephen are amazing, The few times I've come to this garage the customer service has been spectacular. Would defo recommend!

I had two separate mechanics look at the fault and both said the ECU required replacing I purchased a replacement ECU and by recommendation from a friend had the car recovered to Hillams to replace / programme the ECU . On investigation / Diagnostics it was found the ECU was OK but the throttle valve was faulty . Ben replaced the unit with a new one the next day. If I had only known Ben before it would have saved me a lot of time and money . Great service , very quick repair as well . Thanks Ben and Steve for the correct diagnosis and repair , highly recommended and my go to mechanics from now on . Friendly and proffetional

Called up the garage as they were about to lock up and the guy was still willing to see me and wait for me! I had an engine light come on and was about to go on a long drive so wanted to make sure it was safe to drive, he ran the diagnostics a few times just to ensure it was all okay, luckily it was nothing to worry about. Despite the time of evening, I wasnt even charged for the check! I would recommend 100% and will be definitely coming back for any future repairs needed! Thank you!

Excellent service. Needed some welding doing to get my car through its mot as it had just failed at another garage. Hillams sorted it all out in a couple of days so I could take it back to the original garage in order that it could be retested quickly so I didn’t have to pay the test fee again. The quality of work was excellent and they went over and above what needed to be done. Car now passed mot. Would highly recommend them. Thank you for all of your help. Matthew.
