i checked many biscuits and items around the store for the expiry date, laughing it off at how pathetic they have some dated back to 2-3 years so please be in mind the date of the items here!!! normally you wouldn’t do this, of course, since you would trust that they don’t sell expired items? genuinely do yourself a favour and look around. it’s why i haven’t been here for more than 3 years. (used to be good when the shop was located across the road). also very creepy cashier. smells of meat when you get in (not him, the meat section is just located in a weird place). maybe if i have the time soon, i will edit this review and show you the date of some items compared to the date of review. which actually concerns me... have they had a health inspector here or not??
Great place lovley staff.. always make time to fit you in. Very competitive pricing. It's based in the fresh fare building which has a ethnic food store, halal butchers, hajama clinic and couple more businesses spread over 2 floors
This is a grocery downstairs, the Hair bit is Upstairs. They do a good range of clip-on extensions and wig-caps ( for the many local West Indian / African people ). Run by Asians in the old Black Bull pub they do not sell alcohol.
Great range of beauty products available at very affordable prices. Excellent customer service.
Nice staff.Cheap and you can find every desi food product you want.
