We visited on a Sunday and we were made very welcome! There is a wide selection of draught beers and the staff service was excellent. We had the beef and pork Sunday lunch followed by deserts and it was absolutely amazing! They have live sports in the bar area and live music on a Saturday night so we will be back with family & friends to enjoy these. Certainly would recommend to anyone for great food and drinks and excellent customer service with a smile which is very hard to come by these days! We Will definitely be back! Thank you ☺️ ❤️
Pub is nice however the football started blasting out the speakers where people were eating which wasn't great. Service was quite slow for table service so ended up going to the bar to order which was fine. Food was nice however onion rings were forgotten. People were really friendly and welcoming.
Sunday lunch for a Birthday celebrations. 15 meals all perfectly Serviced pipping hot and excellent service by all. Highly recceommended. Beef, Yorkshire pud. Stuffing. Plenty of veg n gravy was superb. Beef Pie chunky chips and lovely gravy excellent . Scampi n chips. Two kids meals. Well worth a visit
The Black Horse is a nice traditional pub. There are no bar games, but it has several large screen TVs for watching Sport, Premier League football was on when I visited. There is a good selection of draught beers lager and cider, including 3 cask conditioned hand pulled real ales which were in excellent condition when i visited. The pub has a beer garden. I haven't tried the food, so I can't comment. There is live music on at weekends. The pub is dog friendly.
Quite nice pub, well decorated. Atmosphere was a mix of people enjoying the live music going on, but that encroached into the restaurant area.
