Wighill Manor Lodges

Perfect getaway. The lodge was spotless and well equipped. Nice touches with tea, coffee, milk and cookies on arrival. Bed was really comfortable. Hot tub was perfect. Weather turned and storm Amy hit but the owners ensured everything was safe and secure on the patio. The White Swan pub is only 3 minutes walk away. Really friendly and food was delicious. We feel really rested after a wonderful week. Would highly recommend.

We had such a relaxing stay at Wighill Manor Lodges. We were greeted by the owner at check-in and told which lodge we were staying in. There are only 5 lodges on their site which is nice. Our lodge was well-equipped with everything we needed including a washer-dryer and dishwasher. It was lovely relaxing in the hot-tub watching the wildlife on the site - rabbits, red kites, a heron and we heard a tawny owl. My only negative is the Wi-Fi wasn't great but we had good 4G signal. The lodge was clean and spacious. We'd definitely recommend!

Fantastic break away, very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Lodge beautiful, clean and everything you need. A welcome pack of coffee, tea, sugar and milk on arrival which was a lovely touch. Hot tub Fantastic. Will return

We generally enjoyed a peaceful short break here, only 5 lodges on site and all facing out onto meadow with abundant wildlife, the hares just outside the lodge were great to see. It would of been nice to have a mown path around the meadow for a walk, as there is nothing else here to do. Everything in the lodge was clean and satisfactory but would not agree with the owners description of it being a 'luxury lodge'. Sofa's were marked and uncomfortable, the hot tub was basic and not hot enough, the old style energy light bulbs in the rooms took an annoying amount of time to get bright, and the bed pillows were too hard for all 4 members of our family. Also, felt that the owner didn't want anything to do with their guests once the key was handed over on arrival.

We have had a lovely stay at Wighill Manor lodges. Mel gave a warm and friendly welcome. We stayed in Willow, a one bedroom lodge for two nights. There was a spacious kitchen/diner/lounge with a remote control fire (the central heating meant we didn’t need to use the fire). The kitchen had tea, coffee, biscuits and milk provided and was well furnished with a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The bathroom was spacious with a bath and separate shower. The bedroom had ample storage space and was clean and comfortable. Due to the space we could have happily spent more time there. The hot tub was a nice addition and looked out on a picturesque field. We would recommend our stay and will definitely visit again.
