WILBERFOSS HOLIDAY PARK

Lovely, spacious lodge let down by the cheap (or lack of) equipment. Pans in the kitchen were of camping quality and not very clean, bath towels so small you would struggle to fit a five year old in, washing machine fitted but no where to dry anything, bedding and pillows very basic and budget. Toilet brush didn't even fit down the toilet. No internet so smart TV was not fit for purpose. We did enquire about the hot tub being checked for chlorine but didn't get a reply.Would be a lovely lodge if a little care was taken on fitting it out. Didn't spoil our holiday as it was an excellent base for going out and exploring the surrounding areas.

Lodge is very basic, (pine lodge) gas cooker does not work the guy did try to fix several times but it just will not stay lit, gas rings have no adjustment as the knobs have had it, so ended up eating out all the time, was going to attempt to cook on gas ring but pans were awfull, needs replacing, nice big shower which doesn't drain away as drain is obviously blocked and it stinks, probably should have reported it, but didn't as given up by then decided to use lodge as just a base, careful when you open or close bathroom door big nail sticking out near handle. Also don't try to use the toaster as it blew the electrics in 2 Lodges this morning. Good points hot tub was great lovely and clean, mattress on bed was good, lodge was basically clean. Looks like there is a fence panel missing outside as next door had fence panels down to the end fence. Don't be mislead by pictures of wine on the hot tub, you are not allowed to drink wine in it or near, there is a a nice little welcome gift of wine in the lodge tho, most other places allow you to drink wine in the tub, maybe the addition of plastic glasses would help solve the problem.

This is a new very quiet holiday park No on site facilities but all the lodges and caravans are new

Gorgeous new Holiday park on the edge of York with lots of local amenities restaurants, shops, supermarkets, pubs, bus stop etc. We just love our holiday home so much and love coming to this new park! Peaceful& tranquil! Thankyou for our dream holiday home!

Stayed recently in the oak Lodge. Would definitely recommend fantastic location also a clean tranquil Park.
