Best fish and chips around. The batter is just right, not really greasy like some places. Chips are nice and chunky and cooked to perfection. Great portion sizes and super friendly staff too. Highly recommend.

I tried this today as I have been getting it recommended by so many people and it did not disappoint! I will also be recommending this place. The fish is hot, fresh and served with chunky chips. The curry sauce here is amazing and it’s all served at very generous filling portions. I’d also like to mention that the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be back! Go give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

I tried this fish and chip shop today after many recommendations and I’m so glad I did!!! Beautiful fish that tasted so fresh and crispy as well as the perfect golden chunky chips. I got the curry sauce and it was the best sauce I have ever had⭐️ The staff were lovely and friendly and they also offer a wide variety of food which I will be trying when I next pop in!!! If you haven’t been here yet - put it on your list!!!

Both my husband and I remarked on how they were some of the best fish and chips we have had in a long while! Not greasy and the chips were light, fluffy and creamy. Love the look of the place and the nice touches like where the fish and potatoes were from. Very good sized menu and also tried the salt and pepper squid which was also delish 😋 we will be back thankyou 😋

The staff here are honestly the friendliest people I’ve ever met – they make you feel welcome every time. The food is simply outstanding, the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted. There’s always a queue, and for very good reason! Without doubt the best traditional fish and chip shop around by far. Can’t recommend The Fat Fryer enough.
