Sunday 27th July,second day of Withfest it’s very busy we ordered haddock chips peas and gravy,I don’t know who fried the fish but they knew what they were doing,the fish was absolutely perfect not a bit greasy the batter was crispy and that too was spot on,the chips weren’t greasy either or the scraps. I speak from experience. I didn’t take a picture I completely forgot too busy enjoying my lunch and to top it off whilst we were eating they completely sold out of fish and closed early. Would definitely recommend eating here and lastly one of the reasons we chose Baileys was they are dog friendly always a bonus for a dog owner and they even provided fresh water in a bowl outside. People will always spend money if there dogs are allowed on the premises. A lot of business owners should pay attention to that particular reason.
The best fish and chips takeaway I've had, we went 3 times in the week we stayed at Withernsea. The fish is white and flaky taste is excellent. Highly recommended
Bought fish and chips x 2 only to find fly fried in with fish! Obviously sat in batter. Tried to get refund for both but they would only refund the one with the fly. Suggested the fly flew into fish after it had been battered so second portion wouldn’t be affected!! If that was the case, why then serve the fish with extra fly?? Fish was also brown and slimy. Dogs wouldn’t even touch the portion without fly. Stomach still turning thinking about it 😓
Really poor chips, most likely left from.the day before and re fired. Had to pay for plastic forks. Staff unhelpful and unorganised, Serious improvements need to be made,
£30 pound for 3 large fish and chips and got a small kids fish and chips for it all to come the same size they are charging different prices for small medium and large fish but yet everyone gets the same size fish and that is a small fish absolutely disgusting
