The best Fish and chips place. Great kids meals Fantastic price I wish we had something similar in Cheshire
THE FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! The food is simply delicious! Fresh, tasty, hot and great portion sizes. Value? - the prices are good and fair. They have great meal offers (fish & chips with something moist and a can - £9.50, bargain!) It is cash only - there is a cash machine at a nearby Tesco. Service - every time I’ve been there has been 2 lasses on. Really friendly and chatty. Very efficient and always smiling. I’ve always felt welcome and they made anyone that walked through the door welcome. If you’re visiting, we bring our touring caravan to this area all the time, then I would definitely recommend a trip here. You won’t regret it and no doubt become a regular. We have just gotten a supper from Sea Side Fisheries. Its a while since we have done this - only because we dont really do Fish suppers much. Every time we have had a meal from here it's been good - but this time I feel we need to do a review. We had a patty ( normal - apparently you can have cheese or cheese and onion) and large chips, large fish and peas and curry sauce. The patty was awsome 😍 as good as when i had them as a kid.. The fish was thick and juicy the chips awsome. The curry sauce and peas the best er have had here - or Hornsea - we dont do this often but when we do it has never been disappointing. Excellent Highly recommended
In my opinion Southcliff Road chippy has / is the best chippy in the Withernsea area. Although I moved out of Withernsea for 25 years in the 80s and 90s I used to go this fish shop regularly it was the best then, it still is today.
Amazing value for money and the lovely staff who clearly enjoy their job. The fish was so flakey it had the perfect consistency, chips were amazing and the best curry sauce I have ever had. I am sad that I don't live closer because this is better than the fish and chips near me. When I am next in the area I will certainly be back.
