Great access to the withernsea beach and promenade. Free out of school holidays and then a minimal charge of around 3.00 for the whole day. Secure as a person is onsite all day. Picnic benches available in the gardens adjoining.
We absolutely love withernsea it's a nice quiet beach with lots of clean sand and friendly people. There's always somewhere new to try for food, especially ice cream 🍦
The car park is a good location for anywhere around the city centre and beach. I went to Withernsea for Puffins spotting, which I needed to walk along the beach then. It is the centre of them ☺️ It is £3.50 all day, and parks at your own risk. However, they said it has CCTV operations. I’m pretty happy with this car park. But I have some doubts about the fee operations as I saw some cars come in the afternoon (around two pm-ish), but they didn't have to pay because the kiosk was closed 😅
We took the kids to have a look at the rides and for my wife and 2 kids to go on the Waltzer, it cost £9 (3 X £3 tokens). The hook a duck, that had cheap toys that probably cost about 50p each, was £4 a go (yellow ticket) so we didn't bother with that.
OK place ,not much here ,alot of weird people ,alot of them drunk and weird, u can find alot of coffee shops, fish and chips and few pubs but I wouldn't recommend for a family day out ,close to the sea ,parking quite expensive
