I never really post reviews on anything but I feel like this has to be said. Ive been living here for the past 4 years now and for 2 and a half years ive suffered badly with pain to the point that they have progressed to fainting, vomiting, fevers and paralysed for a number of hours. Its affecting my work/daily life at this point. Recently I thought I had a breakthrough and was finally placed with a doctor who was very helpful and understanding. This was fantastic after spending days and endless hours in AE over the course of the years being told its 'normal' or 'take ibuprofen'. This doctor put me through cardiology as my pain was effecting my heart rate and concluded it was highly a fainting disorder (I wont write the name on here) due to the pain it recommended that i must have another referral soon. After some back and forth no new referral more waiting and was given tablets (my 3rd time)that gave me really bad side effects and sadly didnt work again. Ive Recently attended the practice as i had rung 2 times and no answer. As speaking to the receptionist the interaction wasn't how I imagined, all I asked is if there was any appointments or any chance I can get some tests either this week or the next. I felt very dismissed which is understandable as it was busy however when I explained to the lady what my gps have told me and what I was going through she shook her head giggled and told me she had never heard of that one, and I felt as if I had become a joke. Everyone in line heard and I felt embarrassed. With more back and forth I said could I book an appointment with a gp but told me to do it online. Im am going to keep trying with this gp but sadly im losing faith in this practice which is a shame as I know there are some good doctors and nurses here. I understand that working for the NHS has become increasingly stressful and I can imagine most days staff are stressed and want things to go smoothly but just remember that some of us are asking for help and are struggling too

I am a new patient and contacted the surgery for first time at 4pm today. Receptionist advised me to fill in online form so l was expecting a call back next week. Received a call 5 minutes later and collected medication within the hour. Best service ever relating to anything medical. Absolutely blown away. 10/10

Could only give one star as there no option for no stars, the service getting appointments is absolutely terrible, why can you not just call in and ask for an appointment, I filled form in online and got reply saying the Dr wanted face to face appointment, only one available at Hedon at 2.30, I was at work , luckily I can drive but was never asked if I could get to Hedon, looked next day, no appointments then next day, then said appointment has expired ? 2 weeks later I went in the surgery was stood at reception for at least 20 mins while the receptionist filled on on line form with a man asking everything about pain, where it hurt, was it moderate pain etc, this man should have been took somewhere quiet with another receptionist, was never acknowledged or other people in queue, eventually another lady came to sort the queue out and I finally got an appointment which is nearly 4 weeks after dr saying he wanted to see me , I feel you are letting us residents down and given us a terrible service, all I want is to see a Dr , I've lived her all my life 60 years plus and have never known such a terrible service, people are ill, dying and just want to see a proper doctor for help , please sort it out , with all the surgery's in this area there must be appointments and I don't believe it when they say there isn't, you should be open at least 6 days a week , and late night appointments

I contacted Hedon group and asked for a letter from a GP and this was done within 48 hours without issue. Super service, very happy.

I have been with this surgery over 20 years. Like everything changes have to be made to ensure patients receive the best possible outcome for whatever they have visited the surgery for. I have received excellent support for my illnesses and my disability. I believe as an individual I know when something isn't right with my health, all you need is a the doctor to listens which I been lucky to have.
