The place was warm on a Saturday cold morning, fireplace was on and they sat me close to it. Service was prompt, had a cappuccino and the fancy one breakfast, asked for a fried egg instead of scrambled. It was a beautifully presented and very filling. Forgot to take a picture before I started eating. Music was beautiful covers of popular songs and it was just the perfect volume.
We went for a meal to celebrate an anniversary. The food was top notch, lovely flavours! Portion sizes were fantastic, it was like you got a slab of pie! Nice crispy onion rings You can bet that we will be back!!
Cannot rate this place enough. Wonderful service, very friendly staff. Food is amazing and presentation fantastic. Haven’t had such good food in a long time. 10/10 for me. Loved it so much went back the next day.
Another fabulous Friday for our family at the Elephant and Castle. Four of us and what a treat! Great cocktails, even better food and service. Always welcoming and the food is lovely. I’d recommend the fish platter for two to share but be hungry…..as for the comments about greasy food I have to say that wasn’t our experience. The evening was relaxing with good company, great food and as always we’ll return.
Waiting time for food was really good. Some staff were helpful but the lady that took order didn't take it correctly. Asked her for vinegar and didn't get any. Then left with top of mouth covered with grease from fish and chips. I understand that they are cooked in fat but they seemed to be cooked not long enough at to high a temp . We were polite to the staff and said thank you as we left but we won't be visiting again. The prices were good though and other people's food in our party was nice. Think it's just anything that comes out of the fryer
