Only stopped in for a few pints with the family. The whole place has had a massive facelift. The staff are very polite and friendly. It's a dog friendly pub which I love. There's a resident dog that will come up and say hello.
What an amazing place, with lovely staff and a quirky and homely refurbished pub with a great hidden 'large beer garden' to the rear! Fantastic for Private parties events etc having lots of inside and outside space, and free to hire function room, BT and sky sports and live entertainment on Fridays and Sundays, Games night on Tuesdays, what's not to like, highly recommended!
Fantastic refurbishment. Definitely worth a visit. It is now the best pub in the area by a long shot. Everything from events most nights, to a fire in the winter, attention to detail with the drinks and great seating. Friendly landlord and bar staff.
Fantastic pub exceptionally clean , great prices excellent menu great food, fabulous staff Dan, Danielle and Julie cannot do enough to make your visit enjoyable . Don't miss out on low valley's little gem .
We had our dear mums funeral wake here on 25/2/2022, the staff were amazing couldn't do enough for us ,the pub is so welcoming n warm with log fire great outdoor space for smokers ,oh and good beer n cocktails which went down a treat thankyou sportsman will definitely return x
