I visited baileys bar and bistro to celebrate my 60 th birthday. The place was turned into an 80s fun packed neon extravaganza. Claire and Russ are the perfect hosts who ensured everything was perfect. The food was gorgeous, they made personalised cocktails , hosted an 80s quiz and encouraged us to sing and dance the night away . It is such a welcoming place to visit where nothing is too much trouble . Thank you for the best night
My husband and I emigrated to Australia 2 years ago and we had a reunion dinner for all our family on our recent visit. Food was excellent all round. We were able to have a large table to accommodate us all. The drinks prices were very good (especially as we are dealing with high prices in Aus🤣) A special mention to Chris who served us, he was very professional and attentive to everyone's needs to help with the experience. It is good to see a great new option for the locals. Good luck for the future.
Just visited for breakfast, wow the new bistro is amazing, the decor and atmosphere is lovely, we was made welcome from opening the door. Ordered two breakfast and they were lovely,all cooked fresh and well presented. Very helpful with letting us know what is on and the menu choice is good, it is a licensed bar as well so quids in . Will be back very soon well done xxxx
Absolutely spot on place. Newly opened small place in the village. Prior to Bailey's opening the village seemed to have become a dormitory for places around. Thankfully I can now go for a few pints and a bit of something to eat. The place is immaculately clean. The toilet is the nicest I have ever been in. We had two drinks and a takeaway meal. The staff and management are friendly and efficient. The drinks were spot on, as was the food. Being a Yorkshireman, I wasn't arguing with the prices. Thank you for a lovely end to our day. We will be back this week.
Was running a First Aid course at a local school, so nipped in here for lunch. Got a panini to take out. Was expecting to get one thrown in a bag wrapped in foil, but was pleasantly surprised by this beautifully presented specimen. Tasted great and good value. Really impressed.
