I don’t go out much for meals and was really looking forward to this one . New Year’s Day, the first to order meals as was pretty empty on our arrival, lovely looking place however took around 1 1/2 hours for food to arrive. I ordered venison as most of the menu was not available but was really excited for it to arrive but when it finally got to our table the meat was so tough I did not enjoy at all. They did as an apology offer free desserts so this was acceptable however my husband had a hair in his, disgusting. To be brutally honest with the price of the food you would expect full availability of the menu ,great service, enjoyable food and hygiene awareness ( not sure if hair nets are being used in the kitchen ) This is a place I would not eat in again.
Absolutely amazing. Hired for a 60th birthday. Can't fault the staff they were great. The food was great. Would recommend. Will probably come back for a meal at some point aswell.
Lunch with my wife daughter and grandson was lovely. My pie portion left me unable to eat a desert. Wife and daughters carbonara were also generous. As for my grandson a clean plate tells a story. Will definitely be back. Lovely attentive service from Lyra.......
Lovely pub but very disappointed with my carbanara. tasteless sauce no cream or cheese in it ,staff were polite and helpful and offered to change my meal .service and staff were excellent. However my sticky toffee pudding was to die for
Lovely hot, well cooked and presented food. Good portions. Nice clean pub, friendly atmosphere. Personal preferences were no bother and we had a great experience.lovely 👍
