Love the food here. The chips are fluffy and soft, the fish is fresh and white with a lovely crisp batter and the mushy peas and Chinese curry sauce are delicious. The staff are very friendly too. You get large portions and it's very good value for money. We drive 10 mile to this chippy, it's worth it.
A local place with delicious fish and chips and other food, and very welcoming staff. £8.20 for a normal portion of cod and chips with one side.
Absolutely disgusting soggy greasy chips not even edible straight thrown in bin. Supposed to be best chippy in Wombwell I wouldn't even feed them greasy undercooked chips to my dog, I'm not happy gets worser every time we go, totally ruined our tea and cost nearly 15 pound, I recommend people avoid!
Feel a bit guilty leaving such a low score because I've been a few time and been spot on. Google asked me to review today and my last visit wasn't great. Chips were very greasy and my fish bone dry. Normally it is exceptional so I won't be writing it off.
