DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I placed an order at 18:30. The suggested delivery time came and went but I was happy to wait given it was Christmas eve. I rang the restaurant a few times and they didn't pick up so I had to send a text through Just Eat. They finally messaged back to say it would be with us at 21:40. At 22:10 and more failed attempts to reach the restaurant I had to tell just eat the order hadn't arrived and placed an order with another restaurant (I was conscious everywhere would be getting ready to close). The restaurant finally rang us to say it would be with us in 10-15 mins. I asked for a refund instead and stated I wasn't happy with their service. A manager eventually agreed but asked us to put the request in through Just Eat. I woke up this morning to a message that said the restaurant would not be returning my money because they were busier than expected... This is disgusting service - it should not take 4 hours for my food to get to me. If you are busy remove yourself from Just Eat or at least pick up the phone and speak to your customers. I will be taking this further as I paid almost £50 for food that I never had.
Had a few takeaways from here recently and have been very good, until tonight. Usually the delivery is really speedy, 30/40 minutes, tonight was 1 hour. All of the food was cold. The chips tasted as if they had been refried. The vegetable spring rolls were rock hard and like the chips tasted recooked. So disappointed.
Great food and service, very much an "old school approach, they are cash only, no delivery and telephone orders been the same people there for the past 23 years we've been using it. When they sell you beef & bean sprouts, that's what you get not padded out with bits of carrot or broccoli. Highly recommend
